| Meet Robert Warwick, a friendly Californian pro-windsurfer that we met last winter in Margarita. Rob, a native of San Francisco, California, decided to travel to El Yaque to perfect his freestyle moves, and to train with some of the world’s best freestylers that live in El Yaque. Rob, a team rider for North Sails and Mistral is moving his way up in the windsurfing world with a first place finish at the 2006 King of the Bay competition. He is also featured on the Winter 2006 cover of Windsurfing Magazine. Go, Rob, go! Check out more of Rob on his website: www.berkeleyboys.com |

Jakub Kosmowski, currently competing on the World Tour in freestyle, also spends several months each winter training in El Yaque. Jakub, ranked in the top 25 freestylers in the world, resides in Poland, and is sponsored by Gaastra, Tabou, Briggs & Stratton among others. An accomplished surfer in freestyle, Jakub is also a disciplined runner and pal of Rob’s. To see more of Jakub, go to his website: www.pol288.com/jakub_kosmowski.html

| Peter (a.k.a ‘Pedro’) was our first Canadian visitor to El Yaque last winter. An extreme mountain biker and avid windsurfer of some 25 years, Pedro and Big Al had a blast together checking out the biking trails, and trying to outdo each other on the water. Seen in this photo, Pedro and Big Al are enjoying the end of the day body fatigue, the sunset and the first of too many Polarcitas. |

The night before Jakub had to leave to join the World Tour, we decided to have a celebratory send-off dinner at the Hotel California restaurant. From left to right, Jakub, Big Al, Nora, Peter ‘Pedro’, and Rob.
