To Make a Booking:

Once you have contacted Nora to reserve your preferred dates, you will be given a choice of payment.  You can choose to pay by using Paypal or by sending a wire transfer to our bank account.  Please note that you (the customer) are responsible for the USD $35.00 service charge for the wire transfer, so Paypal is cheaper.  Your reservation will be considered booked after we receive 50% of the agreed upon price.  The remaining 50% must be deposited into our account or our Paypal account two weeks prior to the date of arrival.

Important:  A refund will only be given to those who cancel their booking 4 weeks prior to arrival.

General Information

Beautiful Margarita Island lies approximately 35 miles off of the northeast coast of Venezuela, and is blessed with unbelievably windy conditions from early winter to late summer.

The beach at El Yaque, with its 1 km long, white, sandy ‘playa’, with its 300 yards of shallow offshore water, and its side shore winds, offers incredible surfing conditions for windsurfers and kiters alike.  The beach is divided into windsurfing and kitesurfing zones (see map below) so that all surfers can enjoy the great winds. With all of the major windsurfing and kitesurfing companies represented on the beach, all equipment rental, lesson and instruction needs are easily taken care of.

After a great day of surfing, relax at one of the many scenic beach bars and enjoy the superb surfing of some of the world’s best freestyle windsurfers and kiters.

Visitors to El Yaque can also explore the restaurant scene, sampling great Thai food at Jerry’s beach bar, enjoying great barbeque at Gabi’s Grill, or grabbing a pizza at Enrico’s.
